Fantastic example of a Porsche 996 GT2 from 2001, with the famous Flat-6 from Porsche accompanied by a 6-speed manual gearbox that produces 462hp.

In 1999, the 993 was replaced by the new model 996. It would take two years for the new GT2 model to arrive. Developed primarily as a road car, in contrast to its predecessor, the new GT2 featured a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.6L (220 cu ft) engine from the GT3. It generates a maximum power of 462hp. Like the 993 GT2, its chassis differed significantly from the other 996s. Key differences included wider wings, a more aggressive nose and a large rear wing. According to road tests carried out by Car and Driver magazine, the GT2 suffers from almost no turbo lag. Despite a 10 millimeter reduction in height for the 911 Turbo, the coefficient of drag is slightly higher - 0.34 Cd vs 0.33 for the Turbo, due to the fixed rear wing.
